I came here for Jarbeque- a popup restaurant inside Toast, and decided to try their official brunch food. It's a fast food type setting where you can order up front, but this time they came to our table to get our orders. I shared the sigsig burrito and the pork belly bowl. It looks like big portions but I ended up eating it all. Sigsig burrito- thought it sounded unique but just OK. There is fries, pork belly, and chicharons inside the burrito. They didn't provide any sauce with it, but I asked for salsa since I saw other ppl with breakfast burritos with salsa. The green salsa they gave was lacking flavors unfortunately. Burrito was loosely wrapped with a lot of extra end tortillas that I had to rip off. Pork belly bowl- was decent and tasty, just a tad bit salty. I liked how they included broccolinis, kimchi and egg Overall it was just OK.
This is a new breakfast place in Tustin, near the district. It is near Board and Brew and Stater Bros. I came on a Saturday morning and had to wait just a few minutes to sit down. The service was friendly. We had breakfast and their famous French Toast. They also sell pies and some bakery items. The food was good and so was their coffee. I recommend Toast Kitchen for breakfast.
Super cute place for a brunch. We got there before 11 so it wasn't packed yet. Parking was easy to find since there's a huge lot. The inside was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Our waitress was really helpful and nice! I feel like she had such great energy. I got the Sisig Burrito and really liked it. It was very tasty with the combo of their kalamansi mayo and avocado aji verde. I only ate half to save my tummy for the Ube French Toast. I thought it was good but didn't stand out too much for me. My partner got the chilaquiles. He really liked his dish as well, but I thought it was okay. I would definitely come back for the Sisig Burrito!
I've been here a couple of times now, both for breakfast / brunch, and both times did I order the Ube French Toast! What can I say -- it caught my attention the first time, and it was so memorable it got me to come back for it again. :) Ube French Toast: Bread is very soft and moist. The ube whipped cream is sooooooo perfectly light and fluffy. The crunch on top. I honestly enjoy the dish even without the maple syrup. Just with everything else it comes with is perfect enough. The wait can get long, especially on weekends or when it gets busy, but they do have a covered outdoor patio that works well when it isn't cold or raining. There's also plenty of parking in the plaza.
We arrived at around 8:30am, so it wasn't too busy. Ordered the Ube French toast and the churros French toast. Both tasted delicious!! Portion is big. I was very full after eating just half of it. The place became busy quickly . I will come back here again and try other items on the menu.
